ABSTRACT:
Now a day people use various types of product such as, room freshners and disinfectants, so aim to minimize the chemicals or disinfectant to cleanse the environment, effort were made to device an herbal dhoop using kapoor tulasi, Bhimsen camphor, cow dung, cow milk, marigold flower, cow ghee and so many things added in dhoop which help to purify air. It’s also show the mosquito repellent property. Thus, it was concluded that herbal dhoop can be comfortable used for fumigation of hospital wards, microbiological labs as well as homes. Hence it is safe and eco-friendly in use.

INTRODUCTION:
In today’s world, people are surrounded by a wide variety of synthetic products such as room fresheners, disinfectant sprays, and chemical-based mosquito repellents. Although these products are effective to some extent, their continuous use has raised concerns regarding safety, environmental impact, and long-term health hazards. Prolonged exposure to synthetic chemicals may lead to respiratory irritation, allergies, or even more serious health complications. To overcome these drawbacks, there is a growing shift toward eco-friendly, natural, and herbal alternatives that can serve the same purpose without causing harm to people or the environment. One such innovation is the formulation of herbal dhoop, a traditional fumigation product enriched with natural ingredients like kapoor (camphor), tulsi (Ocimum sanctum), Bhimseni camphor, cow dung, cow milk, marigold flowers, and cow ghee.
The concept of herbal dhoop is not new; it finds its roots in Ayurveda and ancient Indian practices, where burning natural resins, herbs, and oils was a common method to purify surroundings and uplift mental well-being. Modern research has confirmed that many of these herbs possess anti-microbial, insect-repelling, and mood-enhancing properties. For example, tulsi is well known for its antibacterial and antifungal activities, while camphor has strong mosquito-repelling effects. Cow dung and ghee, when burned, release natural smoke that helps cleanse the air and reduce harmful microorganisms. Marigold flowers, apart from their pleasant fragrance, are also reported to have insecticidal properties. Together, these ingredients create a synergistic effect that makes herbal dhoop an effective, safe, and natural alternative to chemical disinfectants.
The transformation power of herbal dhoop lies not only in its ability to purify air but also in its holistic benefits to mind and body. When used in homes, temples, hospital wards, or microbiological laboratories, the smoke generated helps reduce microbial load in the environment while simultaneously creating a calming and spiritually uplifting atmosphere. Unlike chemical sprays that may irritate sensitive individuals, herbal dhoop offers a gentle, soothing aroma that supports relaxation, reduces stress, and promotes mental clarity. In this way, it represents the point where ancient wisdom meets modern wellness.
Another important dimension of herbal dhoop is its cultural significance. In Indian traditions, the burning of dhoop or incense has always been associated with rituals, meditation, and spiritual practices. Furthermore, the use of herbal dhoop reflects a conscious effort toward sustainability and ethical living. By avoiding harsh chemicals, it supports eco-friendly practices and reduces environmental pollution. The ingredients used are biodegradable and renewable, making the product safe for long-term use. Kapoor, Tulasi, Bhimsen Camphor, Cow dung, Cow milk, Neem Oil and other ingredients.

The Dhoop is prepared as per the Ayurveda script

Test of herbal dhoop was carried out in order to evaluate the acceptability of herbal dhoop, various parameters such as fragrance, appearance, etc.
A survcy also carried out in order to evaluate the acceptability of herbal dhoop among 20 students.

Mosquito Repellent:
Neem oil acts as a mosquito repellent, the repellency activity;

RESULT:
The Herbal Mosquito Repellant Dhoop was prepared from the mentioned ingredients and by the below mentioned method Overall, herbal dhoop can be a deeply enriching and transformative experience, offering a multisensory journey that engages the mind, body and spirit.
DISCUSSION:
· Kapoor tulasi: It has a sweet fragrance that can keep insects and mosquitoes away. Kapoor Tulsi use to treat bronchitis and malaria it is a natural herb use in incense sticks for purification of air and for faster healing and recovery during sickness.
· Bhimsen camphor: Bhimsen camphor acts as natural purifier because its kills the germs and micro-organisms in the surrounding where it burns it spread positive energy. It helps to induce sleep. Bhimsen camphor is mostly use to relive from cough and cold.
· Cow dung: Use as binder as well as burning agent.
· Marigold flower: The parts of marigold flower like petals pollen and stems are contain triterpenoid esters which are act as anti-inflammatory. It also contains antioxidants and carotenoids. It also use as bactericide, antiseptic, antiviral and anti-inflammatory.
· Cow ghee: Ghee use in incense sticks has power for healing the mind effectively. Use as binder and burning agent in incense sticks
· Neem oil: Use as mosquito repellent and also has some air purification properties
· Sandal wood powder: It spreads very good and refreshing fragrance
· Honey: - It help to get relief from stress and anxiety and also encouraged for better sleep.
· Rose oil: - Use to produce fragrance.

CONCLUSIONS:
Overall it's proven that this dhoop can cleanse the environment and can be a potential and efficacious source of disinfection in various areas. Instead of using chemical sources and the harmful UV rays we can use this herbal dhoop in defined quality and which is prepared from well accessible and affordable sources. It can also help in creating a positive environment and can act as a room purifier and air freshener.
Natural and biocompatible measures like this herbal dhoop can potentially aid in internal environment cleansing and sustainable conservation without causing any harm to the environment unlike various chemicals and aerosols.
